Summer Cheer 2019

Each year after planting Spring flowers I like to take photos of the house, the cheerful blooms and the front porch that makes the world a little prettier and perhaps seem even a little friendlier.

Our bright and cheerful red front door. I love decorating it for every season.
Sunflowers and Owls will grace our porch this summer. Apple green seat pads are on the way.
Our porch pillows were quite faded so it was time to purchase new. Sticking with my color scheme of apple greed and red, I chose owls and sunflowers.
And each we we have a red, white and blue display in a little decorative wagon.
Ordinarily we fill this little bucket with miniatures daisies but this year we tried something a bit different.
And the blue or purple makes the bouquet pop. I love the billowy clouds of the sky in this shot. It wasn’t until after I took the photo that I noticed the beautiful sky

  1. Love these! I can see it all perfectly. The nice part about the blog is that your photos are a higher resolution than they are on FB. Welcome to the world of blogging…I think you’re going to have a lot of fun!
